Our Mission
Retail options traders are at a structural disadvantage. Institutional algorithms process thousands of signals per second. Most individual traders are left reading candlestick charts on a 15-minute delay, guessing direction, and paying full option premium for the privilege.
We built Hood Option to change that. Our signal engine processes real-time market data — VWAP, MACD, Bollinger Bands, 13 chart pattern detectors, and live options pricing — and distills it into a single, clear directional bias: CALL, PUT, or NEUTRAL. No jargon. No noise. Just the setup.

How the Signal Engine Works
Every signal is produced by a three-tier confidence model:
Intraday conditions
VWAP position, day range location, candle body strength, and gap filter.
Daily technicals
MACD 12/26/9 crossover with histogram expansion, and Bollinger Bands (20-period, 2σ) with squeeze guard.
Chart patterns
13 pattern detectors — double top/bottom, head & shoulders, wedges, flags, triangles, and more.
A Prime Signal fires only when all intraday conditions pass and the blended confidence score reaches 80% or above — the highest-quality setup the engine produces.
